Research is being done on the Endocannabinoid System, but not at the rate one would expect. After all, every living being has one, it is vital for survival and is responsible for our health...you'd think this would be the topic of every discussion with every doctor you have ever visited. The Endocannabinoid System is the most important part of our body because it regulates ALL OTHER SYSTEMS in your body. Think about that for a moment. This system, which isn't spoken about much, let alone most people don't even realize they have one, is the system that creates homeostasis in your body. I'm not going to get all scientific on you, I will leave that for the researchers and doctors. (If doctors even mention this to you). What I do want to tell you is that it is extremely important that you become aware of and start nurturing this system. We were designed to heal ourselves internally. Every organ, every system from the nervous system, reproductive system, endocrine system, circulatory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, basically all of our systems are regulated and maintained by the Endocannabinoid System.
I bet you're wondering why your doctor hasn't spoken to you about this, or perhaps why this system doesn't get more attention. I believe it is because there is big money in big pharma. If we were able to regulate, maintain and recover from ailments just by "waking up" our Endocannabinoid System then we wouldn't need prescription medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, IBS and the list goes on.
Don't get me wrong, people need medications and I am NOT telling anyone to stop any medication without speaking to a doctor, but rather I am simply trying to inform others that there is another way, but it requires you to do your own homework, because the medical field isn't going to help you with this one. Again, it's a money thing.
Anyway, the Endocannabinoid System "falls asleep" per se. It can be a very lazy system, because we don't replenish it. It functions with receptors known as CB1 and CB2. Those are cannabinoid receptors and cannabinoids are a natural part of our body. Our body creates them, but often times not enough of them to keep the system running at optimal levels. The system is also comprised of enzymes that break down the natural cannabinoids in our system and put them to work. But again, we need to have the natural cannabinoids in our system in order for the Endocannabinoid System to work.
This is a crucial system for homeostasis as I mentioned before. Homeostasis is your own body's effort to keep the internal systems, or environment, running at optimal level. Basically, it keeps you healthy. Even your body temperature is regulated by it. Isn't that enough to want to learn more about it?
The ailments most of us struggle with at one point in our lives - some more frequently than others - such as sleeplessness, appetite, memory, pain, depression, sickness, fatigue - all derive from an Endocannabinoid System that isn't functioning at the levels it should. Like I said, this system can be lazy and we need to know how to naturally jump start it back into action!
So, by now you are asking yourself how do I jump start my Endocannabinoid System? I am so glad you asked. CBD, short for cannabidiol, and is a chemical compound from the Cannabid sativa plant, whish is also known as Hemp. Sorry folks, this stuff isn't going to get you high, it's just going to regulate your bodies natural system! Get this, CBD is a naturally occurring compound in the stative plant and has been used as medicine for centuries. Well, until man-made medicines hit the market that is. CBD works with the CB1 and CB2 receptors to rebuild and maintain homeostasis - basically, you become healthy. CBD can reduce inflammation, may reduce anxiety and depression, CBD research has even found that it may reduce cancer related symptoms. Think about that!
I wanted to know a lot more about this so I became certified in CBD health and physiology. Not an easy certification by any stretch. I also starting selling and using CBD oil every day. Homeostasis level = expert! Not all CBD oil is created equal, you can't go cheap and purchase it from the gas station or these pop-up CBD shops. It needs to be taken sublingual and must NOT have any other ingredients, I will get more into that in my next article. In the meantime, if you have questions, need CBD, need to understand how to take CBD and which CBD Oil is right for you, drop me a comment or use my contact page to get in touch.
